World Thrombosis Day (WTD): impacts of hospitalization, cancer-bearing, and earthquakes
The International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) recognizes the birthday of Dr. Rudolf Carl Virchow, October 13, as World Thrombosis Day (WTD) to commemorate his contribution in defining the concept of thrombosis in 2013.
