New Technique Helps Uncover How Coronaviruses Enter Cells

Researchers at NIAID’s Rocky Mountain Laboratories in Hamilton, Montana, describe a new approach that can rapidly identify the receptor proteins that coronaviruses—like SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19—use to infect cells. Their findings were published Monday in Nature Microbiology.
