1. August Advocacy Training Webinar: Speak Out and Advocate for Parkinson’s

Join us for a special webinar on July 22 at 12 p.m. ET. We’ll discuss the importance of taking part in the public policy process during the month of August, when members of Congress return to their districts, and why addressing telemedicine and mental health issues is critical to the PD community.
 

 

2. Virtual Event Spotlight: Virtual Tour de Fox Ride

Tour communities in the Pacific Northwest, Wine Country, Atlanta and beyond are uniting for a unified virtual ride on Saturday, August 29. Register with your local Tour community or choose the Ride from Anywhere campaign. All cyclists pick their own routes and distances.
 

 

3. Currently Trending: Making Telehealth Permanent Beyond the Pandemic

The MJFF public policy team has been advocating for telehealth for years and is now actively working to make telehealth services permanent beyond the COVID-19 pandemic.
 

 

4. In Case You Missed It: Thousands Respond to Survey on COVID-19 and Parkinson’s

Last week, an MJFF-sponsored Fox Insight study released results from a first-of-its-kind survey on how COVID-19 is impacting the Parkinson’s community.
 

 

5. #TogetherAtHome: Parkinson’s Summertime Tips

This summer, many people have canceled or changed travel plans, adapted get-togethers to meet social distancing guidelines, and found creative ways to be with friends and family. Whether you get outside or out of town, let’s talk about how you can make the most of that time.
