2018 NOBEL PRIZE WINNER - Congratulations, Jim Allison, Ph.D.

We wanted you to share in today’s excitement!

Yesterday, our own Jim Allison, Ph.D., was awarded the 2018 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his groundbreaking work in immunotherapy. At the ceremony in Stockholm, he accepted his medal and diploma from King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.

Dr. Allison is transforming the world of cancer research and treatment, and getting us closer to Making Cancer History®. We’re so proud of him, and so grateful to you for making important breakthroughs like this possible.

Many of our donors have made gifts to honor Dr. Allison’s Nobel Prize win and to help advance pioneering cancer research. If you’d like to do the same, you can make a donation to The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center here.

Thank you again for your continuing support.
