Building patient-centered outcomes research in osteogenesis imperfecta

Orthpaedic surgeon Laura Tosi, M.D., is the co-lead on a program to improve patient-centered outcomes research and education in osteogenesis imperfecta. The initiative recently received a Eugene Washington Engagement Award of $250,000 from the Patient-Centered Outcomes and Research Institute.

Pediatric medical device competition now accepting submissions

The official call for submissions is underway for the annual pediatric medical device competition, sponsored by National Capital Consortium for Pediatric Device Innovation. The competition focuses on pediatric devices in three areas: cardiovascular, orthopedic and spine and neonatal intensive care.
