NHGRI heads to Seattle for AAAS 2020

The National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) is going to Seattle to promote the upcoming PBS documentary, "Ken Burns presents The Gene: An Intimate History," based on the best-selling book by Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee.

As the education and outreach partner, NHGRI is helping PBS stations across the country connect with local and regional scientists and reachers at community panels and screenings.

Genomics, past and future, with a preview of upcoming film "Ken Burns presents The Gene: An Intimate History"

The workshop will kick off with a teaser of Mukherjee's journey through key genetics discoveries that represent some of the greatest achievements in the history of science, before opening up for a Q&A on emerging trends in genomics.
