The Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative (PPMI) study -- sponsored by The Michael J. Fox Foundation -- is building the most robust dataset and biosample library in Parkinson's research to help scientists better understand the disease and find objective tests to improve diagnosis and speed therapeutic development.

More PPMI participants are needed to fuel the study's critical work. PPMI is currently investigating genetic mutations associated with Parkinson's disease (PD) andrecruiting individuals of Ashkenazi Jewish descent with a connection to PD or Gaucher disease.

"[My husband] Jay and I support the study by participating in imaging tests and clinical exams, and by contributing biosamples annually. We've made this commitment because we know the only way we're going to fight this disease is with knowledge, and this kind of data is our best hope for unlocking the key to new therapies. I hope you'll join us." - Dr. Barbara Robinson, PPMI Participant

Are Your Eligible?

P.S. Everyone is needed to help fuel Parkinson's research! If you're not eligible for PPMI, check out Fox Insight -- MJFF's online clinical study you can participate in from anywhere.
