Emerging biomarkers in oncology research and practice

This thematic series of state-of-the-science publications covers cutting-edge developments in the field of oncology and pathology with reference to diagnostic, prognostic, predictive and pharmacodynamics biomarkers.
It includes articles on recent advances in discovery, methodology development, analytical and clinical validation and clinical qualification of novel tissue-based oncology biomarkers. Articles in the series also demonstrate the clinical utility and value of promising tissue-biomarkers in advancing the development of targeted therapeutics in oncology clinical trials and practice.
