Are you an organization focused on or interested in the topic of active duty and veteran women’s health?
The Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), within HHS Region 3 (which includes the states: DE, MD, PA, VA, WV, and Washington D.C.), is identifying Region 3 organizations willing to participate in the Region 3 Military Women’s Health Listening Session on August 27, 2018 from 12:30pm-1:30pm EST. This listening session supports the national webinar and by participating in the Region 3 focused dialogue, you will not miss any of the webcasted workshop as there is currently a lunch noted from 12:30pm-1:30pm.
A commitment to participate would require an organization to do the following:
- Identify 3-10 staff to participate
- Have staff register and view the webcast event either together or at their desks from 10:00am-12:30pm EST, then bring staff together to one (1) room for a one (1) hour facilitated dialogue with HHS/OASH Region 3 via conference call.
- Note: all participants are encouraged to view the full day workshop; however, this Region 3 activity only requires tuning in during the times noted above.
- Have at least one (1) representative from the organization participate in a one (1) hour prep-call on August 23 or 24. (Note: Although representatives are required to only attend a one (1) hour prep-call, there will be multiple prep-calls scheduled to ensure participation by all interested parties).
- Complete the Participating Organization Form, found here, by COB Wednesday, August 22, 2018 (Note: only one completed form per organization, please).
The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ (HHS) Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH) in Region 3 consists of states DE, MD, PA, VA, WV, and Washington, DC.
