Webinar Series: Positive Approaches to Adolescent Health


Encouraging healthy behaviors is key to promoting adolescent wellbeing and healthy communities. In this webinar series, co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Office of Adolescent Health and the American Public Health Association, you'll learn about the importance of positive approaches to adolescent health, the challenges facing adolescents, and strategies for encouraging healthy behaviors.
Join the first webinar, Building on Strengths: An Asset-Based Approach to Adolescent Health, on May 14 from 12–1:00 p.m. EST to learn how to:
  • Explain why adolescents are a population of critical importance for public health programs and professionals;
  • Identify the importance of emphasizing strengths rather than risks related to adolescent health; and
