Here are some of the incredible speakers you'll hear from at the 2018 RARE Patient Advocacy Summit.

Rachel Callander

Rachel is a TEDx presenter, speaker, trainer, artist andauthor of Outstanding Book of the Year 2015 IPPY 2015, Super Power Baby Project. Inspired by her late daughter Evie, this book celebrates the lives of children with chromosomal or genetic conditions.

Gay Grossman

Gay Grossman has been a rare disease advocate for more than two decades, collaborating in the rare disease space to gain access to clinical trials and medical therapies. Gay and her husband founded ADCY5.org to support patients and families with ADCY5-related dyskinesia.

Allison Fine

After years of working as a counselor for those living with ongoing health challenges, Allison saw a gap in social service and emotional health systems. Upon that realization, Allison founded the Center for Chronic Illness to provide free, professionally-led support groups for those impacted by health challenges.

Ethan Perlstein

Ethan founded Perlara PBC, the first biotech public benefit corporation and drug discovery platform company partnering with families and biopharma companies to cure diseases previously thought to be too rare to matter. Before founding Perlara, Ethan received a degree in cell biology at Harvard and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Lewis-Sigler Institute at Princeton.

Caroline Loewy

As an expert in assessing biotechnology product development, Caroline provides strategic advisory services to life science companies. She is a founding board member of Global Genes and serves on the National Advisory Council of the Translational Genomics Research Institute Center for Rare Childhood Disorders. She holds an MBA/MS degree from Carnegie Mellon University.
