Parkinson's is a complex disease, so the more we know about it, the better equipped we'll be to help millions of people living with it. That's why The Michael J. Fox Foundation launched the online clinical study Fox Insight . Through quarterly questionnaires, Fox Insight collects self-reported data on symptoms, daily activities and other health factors from people with and without Parkinson's to learn more about life with the disease and accelerate research breakthroughs.
But Fox Insight doesn't stop there. Over time, people enrolled in the study can expand their contributions to science by participating in extra research opportunities offered through the platform, ranging from one-off surveys to additional studies.
In the coming weeks, Fox Insight will launch a new survey to discover how people with Parkinson's talk about "off" time (periods when symptoms return, often because medication isn't working optimally). An increased understanding of these periods could improve patient-doctor communication and Parkinson's care.
Interested in sharing your experience with "off" time? Make sure you're part of Fox Insight so you can access this survey and other research opportunities when they launch.
If you're already enrolled in Fox Insight, we thank you for helping to shape the future of Parkinson's research.
P.S. Have a family member or friend with Parkinson's who might be interested in joining Fox Insight? Please forward them this email! |
