What to Expect
The potential and current applications of micro-CT in the analysis of root canal morphology will be described, as well as access, opening, cleaning and shaping procedures and obturation and retreatment protocols. Bruker’s micro-CT systems such as the SkyScan 1174 will also be discussed for analysing various 2D and 3D parameters in dental research.

Dr. Matthias Nauck Universitätsmedizin Greifswald, Institut für Klinische Chemie und Laboratoriumsmedizin
Prof. Matthias Nauck, born 1961, completed his medical studies at the University Hospital Freiburg. In 1997 he became specialist for laboratory medicine after obtaining his doctorate in 1992. He received his habilitation in 2000 and since 2002 Prof. Nauck is director of the Institute of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine at the University Medicine Greifswald.
