News for Public Health Professionals- Arthritis Indicator Data Available

Map of CDC, in collaboration with the Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CTSE), and the National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD), updated the Chronic Disease Indicators (CDI) Data Portal with new arthritis measures, making a total of 10 arthritis indicators available. Users of the portal can create their own data maps, charts, and more for arthritis and other chronic diseases.
"Access to the arthritis category and indicators is critical for monitoring the disease and co-morbidities that have an impact on public health," said Dr. Janet Croft, chief of CDC's Arthritis Program.
