Arterial hypertension is common in the Russian adult population, with half of affected individuals inadequately controlled. This scoping review reports on published studies that have assessed adherence to antihypertensive therapy in Russia, the factors associated with adherence, interventions to improve adherence to treatment, and their effectiveness.
