Exergaming to improve complex motor-cognitive performances in patients suffering from dementia

Exergaming, or "exercise-gaming," is an exciting new therapy option for patients with dementia. In a recently published study in Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation, Dr. Christian Werner and colleagues attempt to identify predictors of early training response and establish the necessary time course for improved motor-cognitive performance in patients with dementia.
