Our society seems to be wrestling with the consequences of ignoring the Truth. For decades students have been taught that it is impossible to us to have true knowledge of the world around us. That's basically the message of "post-modernism". What puzzles me is why anyone is surprised by the the rise of "fake news" and by "no platforming" at colleges and universities. If there is no truth, then why not make up the news? Why not shout down people you don't agree with?
