Funding Opportunity: Phase I Replication of Programs Proven Effective through Rigorous Evaluation to Reduce Teenage Pregnancy, Behavioral Risk Factors Underlying Teenage Pregnancy, or Other Associated Risk Factors

The HHS Office of Adolescent Health anticipates funding 30 grantees with an annual budget of $200,000 - $500,000 per year for a period of performance not to exceed two years. The grant awards will replicate programs that have been proven through rigorous evaluation to reduce teenage pregnancy, behavioral risk factors underlying teenage pregnancy, or other associated risk factors. Applications are due Monday, April 15, 2019by 6:00 p.m. ET.

The American Hospital Association’s Hospital Against Violence initiative, in collaboration with HEAL Trafficking and Jones Day, hosts this webinar to aid health care providers in understanding and addressing the role of opioid use for individuals at risk of, currently experiencing, or recovering from trafficking. We will examine trauma-informed care approaches for providers, client-based, and research perspectives to understand contributing factors to vulnerability.  Together we can identify promising practices and spotlight treatment options that address the underlying issues that can put victims and survivors at risk.
