Doris Cuckovic

Doris obtained her DDS from the University of Rome, Italy. She moved on to complete a PhD at the Department of Craniofacial Development & Stem Cell Biology at King´s College London, UK. As PhD student, she worked on salivary gland development with focus on the role of innervation in gland organogenesis.
Doris joined BioMed Central in March 2019 as manuscript editor for the BMC Series.

A study published in BMC Health Services Research shows that locating Independent Domestic Violence Advisors (IDVAs) in hospitals is an effective  response to domestic violence and abuse (DVA).
