Tillie Cryer & Hayley Henderson

Tillie has a Bachelor of Science in Bioveterinary Science and a Master of Research in Veterinary Microbiology. She has previous research experience in veterinary science and more recently, mental health and health services research. In 2017, Tillie joined BMC as an Assistant Editor and in 2019, became the Editor of BMC Nephrology, BMC Urology, BMC Veterinary Research, BMC Dermatology.

Hayley obtained her PhD in veterinary dermatology from the University of Cardiff, UK before joining BioMed Central in 2009. Following her time working in the veterinary and medical field, Hayley was eager to help bridge the gap between these two disciplines, and she supports One Health Initiative and VetAllTrials. She is also the Director of the International Association of Veterinary Editors, and is involved in running author and referee workshops to help encourage and support young researchers. Hayley is a Senior Editor for the BMC series and regularly contributes to the BMC Series blog. Hayley is the Executive Editor of BMC Nephrology, BMC Urology, BMC Veterinary Research, BMC Dermatology.

BMC Nephrology has been publishing articles on all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis, and management of kidney and associated disorders for 20 years. In this blog post, we are delighted to announce the launch of a journal-specific blog, highlighting high-quality and topical articles published in the journal.
BMC Nephrology is an open access BMC Series journal that publishes original peer-reviewed articles on all aspects of the prevention, diagnosis, and management of kidney and associated disorders. The journal has been publishing articles for almost 20 years and has amassed more than 2,500 articles specific to the medical field of nephrology.
