1. News in Context: LRRK2 Therapies Speeding toward Patients after $1B Biotech Deal

A drug that may slow or stop Parkinson’s disease is moving closer to patients’ hands after a $1 billion deal. This partnership speeding therapeutic testing is built on work from The Michael J. Fox Foundation to “de-risk” LRRK2 drug development and support measurement tools.
 

 

2. Tune in Live from Instagram: How to Boost Your Virtual Fundraising

Kim Barnett, 50, of Lafayette, Colorado has completed 11 Fox Insight study visits and multiple research studies through MJFF’s Trial Finder . In this guest blog, she shares how knowledge became power after her father’s Parkinson’s diagnosis and helped steer many of her future life choices.
