What We Fund: $8.8 Million in New Grants for Parkinson’s Research
This week, The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) announced 49 new grant awards totaling more than $8.8 million. The recently funded projects include developing a non-invasive way to detect Parkinson’s disease (PD) in the eye, investigating if a gene therapy approach could be used to treat Parkinson’s, and creating several new research tools.
