1. Currently Trending: New Infographic Shows Impact of COVID-19 on People with Parkinson’s

Dive into the findings from our Fox Insight survey on COVID-19 that show how people with Parkinson’s are being affected by the pandemic and discover the steps we are taking as a result.
 

 

2. Virtual Event Spotlight: Exercise to Defeat Parkinson’s

Even before the pandemic, this Team Fox event has always enabled participation from anywhere at any time. Select the type of exercise, the time and the place and get moving! Go for a walk, practice yoga in your living room, or take dance lessons on YouTube. The possibilities are endless.
 

 

3. Update from D.C.: New Bill on Congress Floor to Ban Paraquat, Herbicide Linked to Parkinson’s

Senator Tom Udall (D-NM) and Representative Joe Neguse (D-CO) have introduced a bill to reduce the number and types of toxic chemicals and ban the herbicide paraquat in the United States. This important topic is the subject of this month’s Third Thursdays Webinar on August 20.
 

 

4. Third Thursdays Webinar: Environment’s Role in Parkinson’s Disease

Join us on Thursday, August 20 at 12 p.m. ET to hear panelists discuss studies into how factors such as pesticide and toxicant exposure, and head injury can lead to Parkinson’s. We’ll also cover policies and legislation that may help limit those exposures and protect people from disease.
 

 

5. #TogetherAtHome: Ways to Advance Parkinson’s Research Online

While some clinical trials have paused due to the pandemic, there are still opportunities to contribute and advance Parkinson’s research from home. Join us online to learn more about the vital role you can play in research.
