Atezolizumab is approved to treat:
- Urothelial carcinoma (a type of bladder cancer) that is locally advanced or hasmetastasized (spread to other parts of the body). It is used in patients whose disease has gotten worse during or after treatment with platinumchemotherapy.
Atezolizumab is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
